In 2008, I and my hubby Max, had the honor of photographing the Indian wedding of Neha and Parag at Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City. Four years later, Neha e-mailed me with the good news: she’s pregnant with their first baby!
Neha wanted photos of herself and her hubby while she was pregnant so she arranged for a couples maternity photo session. After a bit of back and forth on what date we would both be available, we finally settled on May 13 — Mother’s Day!
What made the photo shoot even more memorable to me was the fact that I was also five months pregnant at the time with our first baby.
It has taken me a while to put this post up, what with our lives turned topsy-turvy with the expectation and arrival of our first child. So now, I present to you some photos from that maternity session which took place at Liberty State Park and at Van Vorst Park in Jersey City. The couple was also joined by their parents and their dog for a few photos.
