WASHINGTON, D.C., JAN. 20, 2009 — Bishop Austin Harrold, of the Interdenominational Christian Community Church in Jersey City, gave directions to passengers on one of two buses headed to the nation’s capital to attend the historic inauguration of Barack Obama, the country’s first African-American president. The bus ride was sponsored by the Jersey City Million Man March Organization and the King Solomon Masonic Lodge. WEST NEW YORK, N.J., MARCH 12, 2009 — R.L. Stine told students during a visit to School 3, “When I was 9 years old, when I discovered writing, I had this old typewriter. I was this weird kid. I would just stay in my room writing all the time and my mother would be outside the door and she would say, “Bob, go out and play! What’s wrong with you, go outside.” And I’d say, “It’s boring out there. Type, type, type, type.” But I never learned how to type. I just use one finger to type. KEARNY, N.J., MARCH 18, 2009 — Phlebotomist Tracie Thorn, left, took the blood of donor, Cassandra Schmidt, 26, of Kearny, inside the Blood Center of New Jersey Bloodmobile parked outside the Walmart during a blood drive. Schmidt, who has donated 20 times in her lifetime, said, “I give blood whenever there’s a blood drive just in case anybody in my family ever needs blood.  Wilson, a 1987 graduate of St. Peter’s Prep, joined the Navy right after graduation. He is the ship’s information systems officer, in charge
