A year ago, I covered Vanessa and James’ wedding, a couple who were such fun to photograph. To celebrate their first year anniversary, I’m posting some of their photos. Read their heartwarming love story.

It’s been a year since Reena captured our wedding, and my husband and I simply don’t get tired of looking at these photos. Not only does it help us remember a day that went by so fast, it helps me remember the emotion behind each moment: the excitement of getting dressed for the wedding with my mom, the morning-of running around, the anticipation of seeing my soon-to-be husband at the altar, and it makes me laugh when I look at the absolutely chaotic outtakes of trying to get our families to stand still and smile for a group shot. Reena just understood what we wanted from our photos and delivered. She worked hard on that day, and the proof was in the proofs! Thanks for the memories, Reena. We treasure them.
