The Liberty Science Center at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, N.J., is hands-down one of my favorite places to visit so I was thrilled when Rachelle and Tim chose me and my hubby, Max, to photograph their wedding there last April after we were recommended to them by Tim’s brother, Tom, a former co-worker of mine at The Jersey Journal. Such a unique and fun venue!
After getting ready at the W Hotel in Hoboken, a school bus (Rach and Tim met in high school) transported the 20-person bridal party to LSC. The couple was married under the iconic Hoberman Sphere after which their guests enjoyed cocktail hour while viewing the animals, like the cotton-top tamarin monkeys, and interacting with the exhibits, including the Infinity Climber, a suspended multi-story play structure.
The grand lobby of the science center was transformed into a gorgeous reception space with flowers from Bride & Blossom and everyone partied their hearts away to the music of POSH Entertainment.
Every detail came together smoothly, thanks to event planners from Pumpkin Coach Events and the wonderful, helpful special events staff at Liberty Science Center who helped make this wedding one to remember.
As wedding photographers, all we want for our brides and grooms is for them to enjoy their wedding and to have, at the end of the day, beautiful and memorable photos to look back on. Once again, it’s mission accomplished for us, but don’t take our word for it. Read the glowing review Rachelle left us on Wedding Wire! Congratulations, Rachelle and Tim, and thank you for having us!
